A little about NGO Eureka

Haldia Eureka Sports & Cultural Welfare Society, a tri-dimensional organization bids fair to become a centre of creating cricket consciousness among the young enthusiasts of Haldia area,

The Society, at the same time, tends to stand by the poor and needy people in the rural area and with this end in view it organizes various welfare programme like Cancer Awareness Camp, Health Camp, Blood Donation Camp, Blood Group Detection, General Medical Check-ups, AIDS-Awareness Camp for poor patients, SHG Group Training, Street Children Education and Distribution of Clothes, Bags, Books for the needy people of locality.

Every day, a great many individuals – individuals simply like you – give humane consideration to those in need. We are resolved to be a consistent life effort to upgrade one's lives, bringing smiles that merit a thousand words. "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."

Mission

Eureka is on a mission to empowering women in their abilities to manage natural resources and to protect the environment. Developing a global community of women, they want to support and embolden the future generation of environmental leaders. Through individual chapter workshops, attendees are able to exchange their experiences, strengthen their leadership skills, and connect with other women. Eureka for Social Change and Inclusion works for the social development and integration of underprivileged individuals, groups and communities in Haldia.

Our work aims to break the vicious cycle of poverty and social isolation and to restore hope for a better future. We believe that every person has the right to access resources and opportunities in order to live and develop with dignity and to become an active and contributing member of our society.
